Saffron Pancake Recipe

¼ Cup Hot Milk
⅛ Tsp
Kesari Saffron Powder
2 Cups Refined Flour
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Tsp Melted Butter
600 ml Milk
Chopped Almonds, for garnish
Honey, to drizzle


In a small bowl, add ¼ cup hot milk along with the saffron powder. Mix well and keep aside.

In a large bowl, add flour, sugar and baking powder. Mix well, add butter and mix again. Add the reserved saffron milk along with 600ml milk and whisk to form a smooth batter.

Add 2 ladles of the pancake batter to a hot flat pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side and remove on a plate. Repeat with remaining batter.

Once cooked, transfer the pancakes to a serving platter, garnish with chopped almonds, drizzle with honey and serve warm with sliced bananas.

Kesar Kheer (rice pudding) recipe| How to make saffron kheer at Home

Kesar Kheer – A delicious and nourishing rice pudding made using Kesari- India’s purest and most trusted saffron brand.

1 Litre Milk
20 Kesari Saffron Strands
⅓ Cup Sugar
2 Cardamom Pods, crushed
⅓ Cup Rice
Chopped Almonds, for garnish
Saffron Strands, for garnish

Preparation: In a deep pan, add milk and bring to the boil. Transfer a ladle full of boiled milk to a small bowl, add saffron, infuse for 5 minutes and transfer it back to the pan containing milk. Add sugar and cardamom pods. Mix well and cook on medium heat while stirring in between for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, add rice and cook for 35-40 minutes until the kheer has become thick and the rice is cooked. Once cooked, transfer to serving bowls, garnish with chopped almonds and saffron and serve either cold or warm.

Gulab Jamun Recipe:

How to Make Gulab Jamun with Khoya:


150g Khoya, ground

¼ Cup Flour

1 Pinch Baking Soda

2 Tbsp + 150ml Water

Kesari Saffron Syrup, to soak

Oil, for frying

Pistachios, for garnish

Saffron Strands, for garnish

Gulab Jamun Recipe:


In a bowl, add khoya, flour and baking soda. Mix well and add 1 tbsp water. Knead and add the remaining 1 tbsp water.

Knead into a soft dough and make small balls.

In the meantime, heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the khoya balls to the hot oil and cook for 7-8 minutes while stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Once the gulab jamuns are golden brown and cooked, remove into a bowl and keep aside.

In a saucepan, add 150ml water and saffron syrup. Heat over low heat, Make sure not to boil.

Once the soaking liquid is hot, add the gulab jamuns, remove from heat and soak for at least 4 hours.

After 4 hours, transfer the gulab jamuns into serving bowls, garnish with pistachios and saffron and serve immediately.

How to Make Kesar Badam Milk at Home:

Here is the recipe:


1 Litre Milk
¼ Cup Kesari Saffron Syrup
15 Pistachios, chopped + for garnish
¼ Cup Almonds, chopped + for garnish
Saffron Strands, for garnish



In a deep non-stick pan, add milk and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to low and add saffron syrup while stirring.

Add chopped pistachios and almonds. Give it a nice stir and remove from heat.

Cool the badam milk, refrigerate for a couple of hours and pour into serving glasses.

Garnish the milk with more chopped pistachios, almonds and saffron strands and serve chilled.

Thandai Recipe

Thandai Recipe:

Thandai recipe is a cool and refreshing drink prepared during the festival of Holi. This drink is made mainly from dry fruits , milk, sugar and flavoured with saffron.

How to make Thandai  for Holi festival?


Milk – 2 cups

Sugar- 2tbsp

Kesari saffron –  6 to 8 strands

Rose essence- 2 drops

To grind to a paste:

Almonds – 20

Poppy seeds- 1tsp

Fennel seeds – 1 tsp

Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Pepper corns – 10


  1. Take all the ingredients listed under ‘to grind’ and soak it in water for  30 mins. Meanwhile boil milk.
  2. Cool down and add sugar.Take a tbsp of warm milk and soak saffron strands in it.Add a tsp of the saffron milk mixture to the milk.
  3. Peel of the skin of almonds and grind it along with other ingredients to a fine paste.
  4. Then spoon the mixture and add it to the milk.Mix well and set aside for 15 mins. Then strain it.
  5. Discard the residue.Add the remaining saffron milk (which we reserved in step2) to the strained almond milk.Add 2 drops rose essence and refrigerate it for an hr.
  6. Serve chilled.
